Matthieu created the topic: New climbing guidebook of Central & Northeast Thailand
Since February 2018, the first climbing guidebook of Central & Northeast Thailand is available.

The 150-page book covers 13 areas located between Khon Kaen in the Northeast and Prachuap Khirikhan in the South.
In total this is:
- 10 sports climbing areas (detailed information) and,
- 3 bouldering areas (general information only).

The book is a mix of a few years old information available online, which have been updated, and brand new information.
Each topo section presents information such as: how to get there both by private and public transports, food and accommodation options, rest day activities, nearest hospital, access maps as well as usual climbing information one usually finds in such book. Climbing routes are drawn on real pictures so it's pretty easy to locate routes once at the crag.

As of February 2018, the guidebook can be purchased from the following distributors:
1/ Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures, Chiang Mai, Thailand
2/ REBEL Rock Climbing, Phuket, Thailand
3/ Urban Playground Climbing, Bangkok, Thailand
4/ Rock Domain Climbing Gym, Bangkok, Thailand
5/ Climb Central Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand
6/ Nam Pha Pa Yai Climbers' Camp, Saraburi, Thailand

18/ Asia Outdoors, Cat Ba island, Vietnam
19/ Green Climbers Home, Thakhek, Laos
20/ Pump / Frontier Spirit, Tokyo, Japan

The book was designed and written by Pleum Chenaphun and Matthieu Le Gall (myself), with the support of the Bangkok and Khon Kaen climbing communities who helped gathering information, providing pictures and proofreading.

Benefits are donated to the local bolting funds to support the bolting and rebolting efforts.
